Red hot review!

Product: Street wear color rich lip color

Shade: 23 cherry blush

Affordable and totally worthy, this lipstick by Street wear is amazing. It is moisturized, smooth and gives a nice shine to your lips. It also contains little bit of sparkle, very little.

How I apply: After moisturizing my lips, I draw outline with red lip liner and then fill my lips with this lipstick. Then I dab my lips with a tissue paper and re apply the lipstick. This helps lip color to reach into the cracks of your lips and also the lip color stays for long.

                                                                                                                                                             

I apply this shade of red during day time as it is bright compared to other red shades which I have. So it is easy to carry a brighter shade during day time.

And I know that you want to know the price of this lipstick. Once I tell you, you’ll be shocked.

This lip range is for Rs.180/- only. Yes 180/- :D

My favorite lip liner!

Hey lovelies!

Recently I have been obsessed with lip liners. So this review is going to be about one of my favorite lip liner.

Bonjois Paris : levres Contour 

Shade: 22 peche voluotueuse

Its a lip liner but I use it as lip stick. Firstly it stays on till 5-6 hours. It is not dry as typical lip liners are. They are available in few shades not much choice though. This shade is a peachy one, which gives natural look. This will suit fair to medium skin tone. I manage to carry it some how :p

How to apply: first I apply a bit of lip balm.. Very little.. Because excess of lip balm before applying lipstick or lip liner makes your lipstick wear off (but its essential for moisturizing). After moisturizing the lips I apply it first on outer side then fill my whole lips.

The texture this lip liner gives is amazing... Bit cracked effect but I like it... A nice matte look. For office wear or for a party its perfect.

 Recently I got one more orange brown shade in this, as i wanted that shade since long time but in matte form....
But i lost that one  :'( :'( :'( sob sob
You know how it feels right? When you misplace your favorite stuff.

Bonjois lip liner 

Few perfect looks!

Hey guys!

I have a lot of products to review but due to lack of time i am unable to do so. I will be reviewing lip liners soon :D 

I wanted to share few of my prefect daily wear looks. ( I am saying 'few' because as you all know how difficult it is to apply liquid liner :/  )

Eyeliner/kajal

Eyeliner by Miss Claire

I am in love with this kajal stick. It perfect for me. It stays for a longer time. Its waterproof kajal. The shade is perfect jet black. Glides easily over skin.

Its for Rs.250

Quality and quantity wise I am happy as well as the pricing

One negative point is that once rolled out the kajal stick can't go back in... But again compared to other roll sticks, its tight and the kajal doesn't come out quickly.

So this negative point can be ignored. Go on girls try it out :D

Hey people,

This post is just a pre-review! Sometimes, we underestimate few brands and neglect their existence. I am going to write a review about such a brand. Everyone is talking about the big brands and reviewing them. But I'll like to write about this one because I genuinely like it. This brand is available at various cosmetic stores, you can say everywhere. Very affordable brand. Its like when you don't have big budget and really want to buy some cosmetics, i'll say go for this brand.

Maybelline foundation review

Sorry to write after such a long time. I have been bit busy lately. (Still busy actually :p)

Anyways today I am posting a review about one of my favorite thing. Hope it will be informative.

Product: Maybelline dream liquid mousse

Shade: honey beige 4

Review:

I am absolutely in love with this foundation/mousse. I love it because it’s not dry and gives such a nice smooth air brush effect. I apply it with a flat brush or with my fingers. I love to use my fingers to apply foundation because I can blend the cream or liquid to any extend I want. After applying this foundation you need to set it with powder. It has pretty good coverage. So if you have dark spots or marks you can go for this one. This liquid mousse is not for daily wear if you are not used to liquid foundations, but for parties and all its perfect. One more good thing about this foundation is its packaging. It doesn't have a cap or lid. Its like a pump, just twist n press. So its easy to use.

It’s very important to get a prefect shade for your skin tone. Do not buy any foundation just because it is looking good one some else. If the prefect shade is not available don’t go for it rather try some other brand. I usually see people buying a shade lighter than their skin tone when it comes to foundation and end up looking like a white ghost ( :/ ). Always go for a darker shade (when I say darker means just one shade darker than your skin), so that the dark spots get covered very neatly.

I got this for Rs.575. I think it’s totally worth it. I love it.

lipstick : Lotus herbal pure colors

Product: Lotus herbals pure color lipstick

Shade: tangerine 694

I got this shade a month back I guess and I totally love it. This is the first time I bought any cosmetic from lotus herbals and I am quite impressed.

Firstly I liked the packaging, as in the gold cover which is inside compliments with this particular shade. This lipstick is not matte one. It is bit glossy. It also contains bit of moisturizer, and that’s why it glides easily. But make sure you don’t have chapped lips or else you’ll not get even shade lips. I also like the smell of this lipstick :D 

This shade is perfect for summer and will look good with bit of dramatic eyes, but don't go too overboard. Keep your eye make up minimal for the day look. For a night look you could go for bold eyes with this shade. If you want it to be luscious or if you want to add shine to it apply a clear or shimmery lip gloss. I usually apply Lakme absolute plump and shine gloss. I have the coral one which goes which this lipstick.

Price: Rs.245 (i got it for discount :D at Rs.205 something. I love discounts XD ) 

If you like to wear bright colors then go for it :)

Sunscreen funda

If you still think its OK to step out of your house without sunscreen then you might have to think twice.

We all know sunscreen protect us from UVA and UVB rays. 

What are UVA and UVB rays? Anyways who cares :p But you need to know they cause early skin aging and contribute towards skin wrinkling. If you don’t want to get wrinkles in your late 20’s itself then start applying sunscreens (sun block, sun tan lotion, sun cream etc whatever you call it, it’s one and the same)

Don’t select sunscreen just because it suits someone else. We all have different skin and their needs. Before buying sunscreen do a research and make sure you know your skin well. Unfortunately, I had many skin issues in my life. :(  I had visited number of skin specialist and dermatologists in past several years. That’s when I became conscious about my skin and very particular about sunscreens. I have researched a lot about sunscreens. I have also tried many of them. There are a lot of options available in the market.  Current one which I am using is thick, bit oily and lasts long for good 6-7hours and that’s more than enough for me, but I won’t recommend that because it’s given on prescription. But before that I have used a couple of them and they are good enough.

Sunscreens by lotus herbal are good. They have a lot of variety so that you could choose according to your requirement. I like 3 in 1 matte lock daily sun block by lotus herbal. I have also tried Garnier and honestly I dint like it. It’s patchy and makes your skin look white, literally white. VLCC has a good sunscreen. You can try that. I have tried lacto calamine; it was too dry for my skin. So I don’t recommend if you have dry skin like mine. If you depend on BB cream or your foundation for spf then it’s not enough. They barely have spf15. At least go for sunscreens which have 25-40spf. Too much of spf is not going to help. Instead buy a sunscreen with 30spf and make sure you apply sufficient amount.

I apply sunscreen before my foundation and let it settle for 5 mins. And remember sunscreen takes 15 to 20 mins to turn on into protection mode so make sure you apply half an hour ago before leaving your house.

Lipstick : Lakme satins enrich range (566)

Here’s my first review :D

Product: Lakmé satins enrich range lipstick

Shade: 566

I'v selected this lipstick because it’s one of my favorite. Ok, all shades are my favorite, that’s why I have them all :p but this shade is much more of a favorite.

This range by Lakmé is really nice for daily use. It lasts for good 4-5hrs and if you go for darker shades it will last longer. It’s very creamy so you don’t need to apply lip balm before the lipstick. They have a wide range of shades, around 100 i guess. You could check it out at Lakmé studio or any retail store like beauty shop. I love beauty shop because you get everything under one roof.

This shade is very natural. You could wear it for day as well as night look. It will go well with dramatic eyes like Smokey eyes or if you want to go for a bright eye makeup this shade will balance it out. Even if you are planning on wearing colorful attire, this nude shade will balance it. You can go for any blush shade if you are going for this lip shade. This shade will suit anyone, trust me on this. It just depends on how well you carry it. Sometimes the same shade of lipstick looks different on same skin toned/colored person; this is because of the lip color. Everyone has a different natural lip color. If you want the same exact shade of lipstick on your lips too then go for lip primers. They are available. I will write about it as soon as I get it ;)

If you are a beginner when it comes to lipstick or if you are not too comfortable carrying loud lips then go for this shade because it’s very natural and will give you a minimalist look.

Cost of this lipstick: Rs.225 (you could get a discount in beauty shops)

It’s not expensive compared to the other ranges. It’s worth the investment if you want quality.

I recommend this shade, its simply amazing! <3

I am Siddhi Sawant (SiSa). This is my very first blog and I am bit nervous :p and confused about what to write in my introduction -_-

First, let me tell you why I started this blog, whenever I buy any cosmetic or learn something for e.g.: D.I.Y project or hairstyles, I feel like sharing it with my girlies. I get super excited when someone asks me about it. I just love talking about it. Lipsticks, eye shadows, nail paints I simply love them. I thought it will be a good idea to share it over a blog. 

This blog is going to be about reviews and D.I.Ys. I will be writing a review about products I use or have tried it. I am a self thought person. I am not a professional but make up and craft is my passion. I am a learner myself. I have a lot to share with you all and I will be reviewing one of my product soon :D

Btw I am a full time advertising student (post graduation), completed my graduation in commerce last year and have also learnt German for a while.
